Assembly Language Programming

Want to be a better programmer?? Or your cracking tutorial said to learn Assembbly Language first?? here is a guide for you check my page on programming.

p.s- cracking is only for educational purposes.

“Assembly Language is a low level programming language.”

If you don't understand the meaning of the above statement I strongly suggest you to study about the high level programming languages such as C , java or python(strongly recommend). But if you are good enough you can get the idea quite clearly about the low level language with the introduction I give to you.

Introduction.

Assembly Language is a low level language – this means that it operates from the lower levels of the computer architecture. If we consider the computer in a simple manner, there are two main layers. They are , the hardware layer and the software layer.

  • If we take the hardware layer it consists of memory chips, processors and all kinds of electronic stuff. They are all interconnected to the processing and storage of the data we input.
  • If we take the software layer it basically the way for us to talk to the hardware of the computer and they give us the output we need. The programs like word processors, calculators and games (my favorite) are in the software layer.

The thing is we have to tell the computer to perform a specific task through a software but the computer can't understand just any language it only understands the machine language. Machine language is a hard-to-understand language consist of 1s and 0s because of this early programmers made a program called the assembler and used it like a converter to convert the instructions of a language called assembly language to machine language instructions. So that's the birth of the Assembly Language.

Why we learn Assembly Language??

  • The programs written using it are faster than high level language programs.
  • The programs written using it are smaller in size than high level language programs.
  • Learning it gives you a better understanding how the programs work.
  • Makes you a better programmer.
  • Basic for cracking a software protection ( only for educational purposes ).
  • Microprocessor programming.

Warnings!!
  • Not for beginner programmers.
  • Large code even for a simple program.
  • Hard to learn.
Tips-
  • Use Cygwin software. It is something like the Linux command line in windows.
  • Use Vmware virtual machine to run linux on a windows platform use the free version it's enough.

Computer Hacking !! - Secure Your Network

Today computer hacking has become a threat to everyone in the computer community but to fight with this threat we should learn how the hackers break into the systems. So let's begin to learn about this topic.

Hacking is one of the favorite topics in computer community. More formally we can call it penetration testing. This is a small guide to get you through computer hacking.

Here you only find the basic steps .You can get an overview of hacking from it. For more detailed hacking techniques I suggest you to buy a book on hacking.

Steps-
  1. Reconnaissance – finding the target info including IP address.
  2. Scanning – find what ports are open in the target & find the weaknesses of the system.
  3. Exploitation – attack the target.
  4. Maintaining Access – maintain the connection between the attacker and the target.

Note-
Although this seems to be a easy don't fool yourself it's not. You should have a good patient mind and some good resources ….

Intro to the term Hacker and how to become one

Who is a hacker?

A hacker is someone who like to mess with electronic or computer stuff and come up with new things to alter the functionality of something. But the society always misunderstand and refer the term to the people who broke into other systems to get private information but there are some hackers who work to strengthen the security of someone by patching the system.

So, there are two types of hackers
  • Black hat hackers.(Demons)
these are the bad guys . they might try to get your personal data and defame you or get money using your identity using illegal methods.
  • White hat hackers.(Angels)
these are the good guys. they don't use their skills for illegal purposes.they usually become computer security experts and help protect people from the black hats.

Also there is another categorizing method considering the skills of the hackers......

  • Script kiddies –
these hackers are the most dangerous because they might not know what they are doing. They simply use the software created by others to do their tasks.
  • Intermediate –
these hackers usually have the ability to know what ther are doing. they have enough programming ability to understand what a program does by looking at the source code but they don't have enough knowledge to create such software or patch vulnerable systems.
  • Elite hacker –
these are the most respected and skillful hackers.they can create hacking software and patch vulnerable systems.they can break into systems and hide that they did it or make it look like someone else did it. this is where you should like to be!!

Where you should start?

If you want to be a skillful computer hacker you'll have to learn many areas of the computer field. Some of them are programming, the internet, networking and much more..

So you'll have to learn for years to become a good hacker you must have patience and courage.

For the start I'll recomend programming and the internet there are many books to explain these areas ..... try to learn a simple programming language first something like python will do but you'll need to learn more and more programming languages on the way to become to become a good hacker.
