Google FU - Google Directives



Learn to get good results with Google using Google directives. By this feature you can search the web more specifically.

You need three things to properly use a Google directive

  1. The name of the directive you want to use.
  2. colon.
  3. the term you want to use to search.
Consider the following example-

       site:dsu.edu pat engebreston

this is in the form-

        site:domain term(s) to search

This search will give you mare specific hits on the site related to "pat , engebreston" keywords. If you think creatively after taking a good look at this site click here , you will be able to dig the web for information..
